Invader Tron’s debut album is finished. Invader Tron (Andrew Snook), one of New Zealand’s top downbeat producers is releasing a selection of his works free to the world. Get online June 8 when “Native Planet” is released via http://www.deliciousmusic.co.nz
Traversing a sea of downbeat soundscapes and glitched-out live instruments, the Invader Tron sound brings to mind lush landscapes, native New Zealand bush and windswept mountains.
The release party on 13 June at The New Media Club, 195 Armagh Street, Christchurch will feature a 4.1 surround sound performance by Invader Tron that will blur the line between performer, music and audience.
