WE’s headquarters on Bedford Row provides members with a central city youth venue. It’s a place where members can relax, find out what’s going on in their city and meet like-minded people. As well as providing space for committee meetings and DJ practice, the venue also hosts exhibitions and workshops.
In 2007 WE ran a youth conference in response to the Edgeware Rd tragedy which claimed the lives of two of our members. One of the calls to action was to create an inner-city venue for youth which WE has been planning for over 18 months now. As a result, WE-HQ is set to be redeveloped to become a central hub and functional resource for the youth of Christchurch.
White Elephant is now calling upon the Christchurch community to assist and support this initiative. We’re looking for selected businesses and individuals to partner with us to make our dream a reality. You can choose from this list of awesome projects to sponsor or simply pledge a donation towards our cause.
